Our Story

Decades ago, glass shampoo bottles and refillable's were the norm. So while the beauty industry has never been particularly eco-friendly, it wasn't a glaring environmental problem. In the 1950's, plastic manufacturing became widespread. Easy to produce, durable, and most importantly cheap. Plastic became the "it" material in the packaging world. Since then humans have created more than 8.3 billion metric tons of plastics. 91% of that has never been recycled. 70% of that plastic is estimated to end up in the ocean or landfills where it takes over 400 years to decompose. That all means that by 2050 there will be more pounds of plastic in the ocean than fish. We have made it part of our promise at Boheme Haircare to only produce products that are plastic free. Our shampoo and Conditioner bars are equivalent to 2 to 3 bottles of 250 ml shampoo and conditioner bottles. Using our solid haircare helps divert almost 6 bottles from entering our landfills. Our Shampoo and Conditioners keep our earth clean with zero compromise on luxurious quality!
